Prague Trip

Prague’s Food

February 12, 2019

Let’s talk about food. I am a believer in spending your money on experiences and not things. Eating is my favourite experiences, behind circus and traveling. Everything here is vegetarian. Now I did eat more than what I’m going to show you here, but here were my favourites:

Ambiente – Pasta Fresca

I got the Spinach tagliatelle with mushrooms, porcini, cream and walnuts. Everything here is AMAZING! This was my family’s favourite when I lived here. Their iced tea is also to die for! It’s a lime iced tea, very citrusy and refreshing.

It’s located in Old Town, off the square. Ask to sit downstairs in the dining room as they have a cafe on the ground floor. I recommend them for lunch or dinner.

Clear Head

this is a vegetarian restaurant, they have vegan options as well. If you’re a vegetarian, 100% go! If you’re not a vegetarian, 200% GO! Everything they create is created with the intention for you to enjoy the experience of savouring amazing flavours. They also have a wide variety of cocktails to try.

Pizza Colluseum

They have multiple locations, I went to the one off Mustek. They serve everything from pizza to pastas, soups and salads. I recommend them for lunch or dinner.

Bohemia Bagel

I don’t have photos, but this is an amazing breakfast or lunch spot. Their bagel sandwiches are wonderful!

Grosseto Pizzaria

Another family favourite. This restaurant is located in Dejvice in Prague 6. this is a more casual Italian sit down restaurant. I recommend them for lunch.

Pizza topped with tomatoes, basil and eggplant.

Kampa Park

While I didn’t make it there this past trip (regrets are abundant) This was also a family favourite. They serve gourmet French cuisine. This is a nicer restaurant and is on the more expensive side. But the food is absolutely delectable. I recommend them for dinner.
